RFNA provides comprehensive, free nutritional information to the public, we empower families and intervene in schools and after-school programs or community centers. We apply distinct techniques to obtain favorable outcomes.
Through our programs we are dedicated to:
- Raise awareness about processed foods and their health impact through nutrition interventions addressing science-based nutrition lessons, cooking classes, and healthier dietary choices.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders in underserved communities to empower children and their families.
- Decrease health disparities by increasing nutritious and fresh foods accessibility.
Our site will soon include petitions for movements we will create to move towards bans of certain food additives as ingredients in our food supply, the reduction of added sugars in our food supply as well as the reduction of the sodium levels of processed foods. We will lobby for specific changes to the nutrition labels that will aid Americans to maintain a better grasp of their consumption.
